Created to enhance the knowledge of The American Legion through saturated, in-depth training.

Training site: Roswell, NM
Registration fee: $300 per student (preferred/recommended Post pay)
Cost will include 3-night MANDATORY hotel stay, breakfast buffet, course materials, graduation pins and certificates

ALL HOTEL RESERVATIONS WILL BE MADE BY
DEPARTMENT ADJUTANT

Hotel: Clarion Inn & Suites, 2000 N Main St, Roswell, NM 88201
Proposed occupancy: Double (student may choose single but Department only liable to pay half, any additional monies
for a single request must be included with registration fee)
Check in and Meet & Greet - Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 1800
Class Dates: Friday, March 15, 2024 - 0800 - 1600
Saturday, March 16, 2024 - 0800 - 1600 and
Sunday, March 17, 2024 - 0800 - 1200
Class will start on Friday @ 0800
Prerequisites:
  • Sign up on mylegion.org and create a password
  • Complete The American Legion Basic Training Course and bring certificate - www.legion.org/alei
  • Submit a rough draft of a Resolution of your choice
  • Submit a minimum of 200 word essay on what The American Legion means to me
All prerequisites must be completed and submitted
on the first day of class
Dress Code:
 American Legion polo shirt with khakis or slacks or class informal
ABSOLUTE LAST DAY for registration - February 4, 2024,
end of Mid-Winter Conference
